GAY FLASH FICTION
Gay Flash Fiction focuses on stories which are less than 1,000 words long. We showcase short fiction and poetry which is GLBT friendly or has a GLBT theme.
Gay Flash Fiction has been going since 2007. It was originally published four times a year but from 2010 we will be publishing three times a year. This year those months are: Februaru, May, Spetember. From 2011 they will be: February, June, October
WILDE OATS
Wilde Oats concentrates on longer fiction, between 1,000 words and 10,000 words. Wilde Oats celebrates gay and bisexual fiction. It embraces the joys and agonies of life for gay and bisexual men, from hard gritty realism to wild flights of romantic fantasy.
We publish an issue every April, August, December
BOTH ZINES ARE ALWAYS OPEN FOR SUBMISSIONS
These zines are run on a volunteer basis, which means – unfortunately – there is no payment for stories, but we do offer free advertising of your website and or published works.
FORBIDDEN FRUIT
In the last two years of Forbidden Fruit Zine, a zine for writers of gay fantasy and slash, I was working as a volunteer editor. Unfortunately the zine closed in 2009. Selected archives can be found at the Wilde Oats site.
